Shooting - Crossbow Shooting
Crossbows are used for sport shooting but are also used as a weapon in pleasure shooting societies (North of France, Belgium, Netherlands...).
Unlike the bow, crossbow shooting is not an Olympic sport. There are two disciplines recognized by the shooting federation:
the Match crossbow (shooting at 10 meters and 30 meters);
the Field crossbow (shooting at 10, 18, 35, 50 and 65 meters).
